Geoff and I just finished watching the opening ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games. Though there were a few parts that I wasn't crazy about, overall I thought it was great. Canada was well represented from coast to coast, and I loved that the aboriginal communities were so prominent throughout the ceremony. The representation of athletes involved in the torch lighting ceremony culminated perfectly in the entrance of "the great one," Wayne Gretzky...who else could it have been??!
Vancouver did us proud. GO CANADA!!!
