  3. Thanks Charity - I'll pass along your comment to Geoff. He does look happy in these photos doesn't he?? I'm glad - he's had a rough past few months leading up to his big 5-0 day (I think mid-life crisis or something) and I'm hoping that actually passing the hump will help him feel as cheerful as these pictures make him look! :)

    Hugs,

  4. I'm glad Geoff had a happy birthday. I wanted a piece of that cake. Oh my goodness! I like Lizzie's hair in that style. How do you get Seth's to make those perfect little curls? They are adorable but I guess he wouldn't think that was cool, huh? Oh well, we don't have to tell him do we? :)

    1. THanks Missy. Yeah, the cake WAS pretty awesome. Geoff's comment was that it was the best cake he'd ever eaten...high praise from a pretty picky guy who doesn't even like sweets that much!

I love Lizzie's hair in this style, too, though I can't take credit for it. It's a week-old style that we had done the day of my brother's wedding. It's pretty frizzy right now, but I can't quite bring myself to take them out quite yet. I think it's my favourite style yet, but I won't be able to emulate it...can't do a corn row to save my life! :)

  5. Hi Ruth,

This isn't a comment for this post but I wasn't sure how to just send you a message :-) I wanted to share with you that we got our referral this week! We are very excited!!! We have a son Edomiyas who will be 9 in Aug and a daughter Edlawit who will be 5 in Sept. We are still in a bit of shock but totally thrilled! Haven't shared our news yet publicly on facebook but we have been sharing it privately. They are such beautiful children and we can't wait to hear of our court date - likely Oct. Allison
