Well, when we decorated the house for Christmas just over a week ago, I got to hang those stockings up for the first time! I think that I was clearly the most excited of the five of us as I stood there looking at them, and that's saying something 'cause the kids were jumping up and down as the stockings went onto their little hooks.
How fun...I can hardly wait to fill 'em up!
P.S. A number of years ago, my Mom painted the beautiful wooden carollers that you can see on the mantle amongst the garland.
I'm very excited for you too! It would be fun to have a place to hang stockings. We just lay them on our couch. I would love to have a visit with you one of these days. Let me know when you have an hour or two with or without kids.
