Things People Say To Transracial Families

An online friend posted this YouTube video (made by adoptive moms) on her blog and I thought it was both funny and a little close for comfort.  Seriously I have heard the vast majority of these comments (some of them many times!) and flinch every time, even knowing that most of them have been made by well-intentioned people.

    I'm wracking my brain hoping that I've never made any of those comments, they are awful!

    oh. my. word. this is great!! I have heard all of these, I think, except of course the ones about girls from China. Thanks for posting!
