Lizzie's response to me a few days ago, when we were in the van and she didn't want to listen to what I was saying:

"Just stop talking already, flea bag!"

Then she clapped a hand to her mouth and said "Mommy...I meant mommy."

I laughed out loud.

Just goes to show that she really does listen to her older brothers, who are fond of insulting each other and then falling on the floor in gales of laughter.
