Highlights from Christmas in Los Angeles - Part 2

The house that my parents rented for a week just outside of Los Angeles was, frankly, incredible.  It was exactly 100 years old and full of character and old-world charm.  It was also huge, and accommodated our four family units with bedrooms and bathrooms.  I miss the place and all that came with it.

I took almost 100 pictures of the house alone, simply because everywhere I looked I could see another photo opportunity or another archway begging to be captured.  I wish I could show you them all, but a few will have to give you a taste of it.

The front entrance, almost hidden in the archways that characterized the house inside and out.

One view of the kitchen.  The archways were everywhere including over the stove-top.

More kitchen.

One of the patios, just off of the kitchen, where we ate many a meal.

The bedroom where we stayed...it was perfect for a family of five, and with a private bathroom.

The views were breath-taking and so relaxing.

And then there was the pool area.  Sigh.  It was completely private, with an incredible heated pool ad hot tub.  I can't tell you how many hours were spent down there (more pictures to come)!

There are more pictures to come, of us enjoying the pool, but I'll leave you with a few of the spectacular sunsets we took in each evening.
