Sharing a Moment

This is how Seth usually sits when Matthew wants him on his bed to read a story together. Seth sits at the very end of the bed (unlike Lizzie, who you can see sitting by Matthew's shoulders), and generally won't agree to sit on the bed at all.

Only twice since Seth has come home to Canada have I found the boys cuddled up together on one of their beds...despite sharing a room.  So this moment was particularly beautiful to me.  They were like this for about 30 minutes, with Matthew reading Seth simple stories and then even explaining any words that Seth didn't like.  They were so engrossed that they didn't even notice me at the doorway taking these pictures.  And I was careful to keep Lizzie out of the room so that they could enjoy their moment.
