Still Celebrating...Three Weeks Later!

Today marks three weeks since we got our referral...in fact, I am publishing this post at exactly the time we got our referral on that lovely Monday morning on November 22nd...here's the proof!

Can you tell that someone's been having some fun buying girl clothes for the very first time ever (a few pairs of girly PJs, a little outfit, and a hoodie)?  And even though our little boy will have many of Matthew's clothes to wear, I felt the need to celebrate his existence in our lives with a little shopping indulgence, too (two pairs of PJs, a little outfit and a hoddie sweater)!  Because I'm so scared of court, I made sure that I bought these at stores I can return them to...but let's hope I never have to contemplate that.  I must say...it felt a little odd to be buying clothing for a little girl!

  1. I love this post. What a great idea to take a picture of the phone call. I also think its a great thing to do some shopping. Somehow jammies and hoodies seem so warm and comfy and welcoming too!

  3. I can not believe that it has been three weeks for us too! I also have just bought a few pieces of clothing. Funny, I bought the same outfit for Tesfanesh (Carters?) but in pink.

  6. Cute outfits! I have been squirreling a few things away too, and don't even have a match yet. Some of the things are going to be too small, as we've upped our age and I'm pretty sure we will get a child over age 4. Have you found out your court date yet? I'm a bit overwhelmed (in a good way) trying to keep up with everyones dates etc.!

  7. Thanks! I'm starting to have fun looking at girls' clothing...even though it's rather overwhelming. It's striking how many more girls' clothes there are in clothing stores, in comparison to boys' clothing!

Sharla, I bought our little boy's outfit at Costco!

    Blessings, all!
