ReplyDeleteYES!!!!! Funny little story- lots of people know you in Wpg. Once again this last Sat I overheard women talking (not silently and right in front of me) about whether or not Ruth was home with her kids yet. (I was at Grand beach for our kids mtn bike races). One women was sure they were one had no idea and the other thought you weren't So, I voluntarily asked if they meant you, and they were so shocked we'd know who each other was... I let them know that soon your kids would be home, but not soon enough! Of course they then started to ask me the questions about my kids that they were holding back at first...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear they're coming home. And oh how I want to meet you in person!
Ramona
OK, that's too funny, Ramona! Of course, now I'm dying of curiosity about who these folks were!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the story - love it!!!
Ruth
I'm thinking it was from a play group or gym class with your "other son". One is on mat leave and I'm not sure how to describe any of them, but I think they all had kids who ride in kids of mud bike clubs.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Ruth! So excited for you dear friend!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSandie
Yay!! (how are they citizens already? Is this something new from when we did this? I ask because D. had a permant residency card, but not citizenship. This is nice!)
ReplyDeleteHi Ruth
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to see if you are still breathing ????
I am sending you lots of courage as your to do list must be rather large.
Thinking of you
love Shannon
