...I know this to be true, because I have experienced three in my life. The first was when I learned that I was (finally, finally) pregnant with Matthew. The second and third miracles happened this morning...when we (finally, finally) learned that we are the legal parents of two additional children.
We are so thankful, and excited, to be at this point. And we are so very, very proud to introduce to you our five-year-old son and three-year-old daughter, brother and sister to seven-year-old Matthew. These are their referral pictures, which we received November 22, 2010. Meet Seth Asrat and Lizzie Senait.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh Ruth - Congratulations - your children are beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch serious faces - can't wait to see them smiling!
Have to say congratulations here too! One can never say that enough!
ReplyDeleteI am just over the moon for you and honestly, it has almost felt like one part of our adoption story was unresolved until now. I'm so happy that it has all worked out and that these two beautiful sweet children will make Matthew a big brother.
Please pass on our congratulations to Geoff and Matthew too!
Ruth - My heart is BURSTING with joy for you and your family! And for the world that now sees two of its children join a family with so much love to share! I could not be more excited, nor could I think of a more amazing family for these bright little stars!
ReplyDeleteWhat are your next steps? When do you expect to be able to bring them home?

ReplyDeleteRuth: It's the phone call you never forget, do you? Oh my gosh, what a relief. And what you've been through to get here. You are such an inspiration (even to those of us who have adopted as well.) Now it's time to exhale and enjoy the moment. Hope they're home soon. Nancy, mom of Nick, Alex and Princess Gracie.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! They are so precious!
ReplyDeleteThat's such great news. We're so happy for you. Although spring has obviously been busy for both our families (yours with expanding, ours with maintenance!) we do hope to get together sometime soon for play and to meet your newest members. Selfishly, they are the same age as our guys, so new friend potential is high! I guess you'll have to change your profile description now. Congratulations again. Tammy, Dave, Addie and Bennie
