Sitting in London Heathrow. Just met another (CAFAC) family on route to court in ET, adopting sibs...we're sitting with them now as we wait for another couple of hours for our last flight into Addis.
Excited, despite minimal sleep. OK, going to visit now, and maybe get a coffee.
Blessings!

HI
ReplyDeleteRuth,
You must be in Ethiopia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
,
I think you will need a year off just to write about this trip and everything that is running through your mind.
Much love your way
Thinking of you

Not supposed to be commenting on blogs for another two weeks but gotta say - hey, you're REALLY REALLY close to my house right now! Can you see me waving???
ReplyDeleteHave a GREAT trip!
(And since I already broke my no commenting thing, a quick comment on your last post - yeah, you're probably going to have both good and bad experiences while you're in Ethiopia, like anywhere else on earth! Best possible advice I can give you (not that you want my advice, but anyway....) is just go with the flow and let stuff happen without trying to ... ummm, I think the word I'm looking for is 'assess' it. That way lies madness, imho. (or oversimplifying, which is nearly as bad!)
Hope the rest of your trip is okay, get some sleep!! Thinking of you on this big journey xxx
I am so excited for you!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear more!!!
