Pictures from Our First Week Home

Here are a few random shots from last week...enjoy:

(below)
Lizzie S. on our second morning home...just starting her fourth helping of eggs...she ate about six eggs that breakfast alone...plus toast with jam.  Isn't she beautiful??

(below)
We discovered on the 2nd or 3rd day home that Seth A. is an excellent towel folder!  He also folded Geoff's underwear (as below), shorts, and stacked his own underwear very neatly.

(below)
Learning how to ride a tricycle...it's going to take a bit of time for him to figure out exactly how to get his legs coordinated on that thing!

(below)
The intense look that he so often wears.

(below)
On Friday, I had a chance to take Matthew to Cartown, something we'd signed him up for about two months ago...I'm glad he (and I) got a chance to get out of the house for a couple of hours.

(below)
Still at Cartown, now as a firefighter.

(below)
Seth A. on the deck in the backyard.

(below)
By far the most we saw Seth A. enjoy himself and laugh were the times we set up the slip 'n slide and wading pool in the backyard...he had a blast

(below)
Little bathing beauty.

(below)
Surprised by the sprinkler!

(below)
Contemplating life...and the ongoings in our neighbour's backyard.

(below)
Sunglasses and the Cheerios container...two of the favourite possessions...just missing the beloved water bottle and the mini tape recorder that we'd given them after court.

(below)
Enjoying a first ice cream outing on Sunday afternoon.

(below)
Lizzie S. displaying the smartie she discovered in her ice cream.  The two younger kids love this picture...laugh whenever they see it!

(below)
Father and son...where Seth A. likes most to be.

Ahhh....if only all of life were like this!

  1. So cute! Thanks for sharing! I'm glad you had nice weather - makes it much easier when you can go outside. We've had a natural sprinkler (i.e. rain) the last week and today is the first sunny day. It makes SUCH a difference!
