Recipe: Pumpkin Bread with Salted Caramel Frosting

For those who asked, here's the recipe I wrote about the other day - I'm referencing a website that I pinned to my recipe board on Pinterest.  I doubled the recipe for two large loaves and we just finished the second loaf this morning for breakfast.  It's fabulous-tasting, moist bread and all five of us love it - it's going into the keeper pile!  :)

P.S.  I recommend using coarse sea salt on the very top - the recipe isn't specific so I tried first granulated salt (which I could hardly taste) and then coarse sea salt, which was just the 'pop' that the recipe needed.

  1. So I made pumpkin bread this morning, seeing as how you inspired me & I have several cans of pumpkin on hand. It was a huge hit (even though it was a slightly different recipe, minus frosting!)
