Geoff just left for work, the kids will wake up any second, and then it's just me...and them...for eleven hours. And Seth A. will be apoplectic when he realizes Daddy is not going to be here. Deep breathe, Ruth.
I think I can. I think I can. I think I can.
I know you can. I know you can. Carolyn from ont
ReplyDeleteYou CAN, you CAN! And furthermore you WILL. And at the end of today you will have DONE it - past tense. And how good are you going to feel then, huh?
ReplyDeleteAnd also - we're all cheering for you.
Standing with you in spirit, friend.
ReplyDeleteYou will do great. One step at a time.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it Ruth. Praying for you today. Pace yourself, go easy on yourself and take some shortcuts if you can. Hey - if you all stay in your jammies then you'll already be ready for bed!
ReplyDeleteHating weekday mornings over here, too...even when there aren't tantrums to start the day (although I have one who has been getting worked up within 5 minutes of waking recently...hoping it's just a "phase"...I just dislike mornings in general, so three kids doesn't make it any easier.
ReplyDeleteSo very much hoping that there is peace in your home today.
You can do it! I completely remember this feeling...you will make it!
ReplyDeletepraying for you today!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis post brings my emotions form those early days... Know that you aren't actually alone with them- I've got you covered!
ReplyDeleteRamona
You can do it Ruth.
ReplyDeleteOne day at a time (or one hour at a time). You will gradually find your routine and it WILL get easier!
Kristin M.
I agree, you are not alone!! I remember that first day when my hubby went back to work(we were home 2 days when he went back to work) It is going to be tough, but YOU can DO IT!!!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Hang in there, just focus on the "now", one moment at a time. You will find your groove soon!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! You will get through this day. And like Ramona pointed out, you are not alone.
ReplyDeleteThinking about you!
ReplyDeleteJohn went back to work 2 weeks ago. It is hard. But you are an awesome mom and you will do great!
Alicia
How was your day. I hope it went well. Let us know. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteYour 11 hours must be over now. I hope it went well!3
ReplyDeleteMy heart totally went out to you this morning when I read this. I had the same feeling 2 weeks ago...but I only had to deal with one child because I got to send the other two off to school! I'm so curious how it went. Get some sleep and I'm looking forward to the next post to get the details! Remember, take it one hour at a time. That is my motto!
